- Despite the title featuring Big Bird's German name (Bibo), he is referred to as Big Bird throughout the movie.
- Additionally, Grover is referred to by both his original name (by Big Bird as he is leaving) and his German name, Grobi (during the scene where he flies into Gordon and Olivia's car.)
- During the song "Ain't No Road Too Long", the lines sung by the Truck Driver, Gordon and Olivia are left undubbed in English, while the lines sung by everyone else are dubbed into German. This does not apply to the other songs, which are fully dubbed into German.
- Andreas von der Meden and Gerd Duwner reprise their roles as Kermit and Ernie from Sesamstraße.
- Christian Marschall previously dubbed The Count at the end of the Marty Feldman episode of The Muppet Show.
