Blackstar is an American animated series produced by Filmation that originally aired on CBS as part of its Saturday morning programming from September 12 to December 5, 1981.

Sucked into a black hole, the astronaut John Blackstar emerges into a distant part of the Universe. Finding himself stranded on the planet Sagar where the Overlord of the Underworld is plotting to destroy the planet and enslave its inhabitants those tiny Trobbits! He vows to protect the Trobbits, aided by the masterful Warlock, his stealthy and courageous flying dragon-horse. Blackstar with his trusty weapon the Star Sword goes into battle against the Overlord with his equally menacing weapon the Power Sword - the battle of the swords commences!
