Trivia[]

  • Lucie Dolène, the voice of Snow White in the the previous 1962 French dub, sued Disney France in 1996 for the copyrights and royalties on her voice, and won; thus resulted in the creation of this dub, which used for all future releases since 2001.
  • In 2009, a narrative part over the text - left in English - for Snow White's death was added to the 2001 dubbing; and is shown as such in all future releases. [2]
  • While the dialogues are reused from the 1962 dub and the lyrics are reused from the 1938 dub with some modifications, the French language version of the "all rights reserved" notice is credited instead of any translator.
