The Bluey theme song (officially known as the "Bluey Theme Tune") is played in every episode's title sequence of the aforementioned Australian cartoon. The 23-second song features a simple tune as the Heeler family plays a game similar to that of musical chairs: once the music stops, if one of the Heelers is still dancing along, they are out. Each time this happens, the character's name is called upon while their name appears briefly above their head. At the end of the game, Bluey, the titular protagonist, wins.
The opening theme adds on layers of instrumentation as each character gets their chance to dance. Chilli has a harmonica solo and acoustic guitar backup, Bandit has a rocking electric guitar solo (as a possible nod to David McCormack's rock roots). Bingo gets a jazzy breakdown, and Bluey has a drumbeat and a faux-full orchestra for her section.
The Bluey theme is available on the official album of the series, titled "Bluey: The Album". An extended version with the subtitle of "Instrumental Parade" is also included on this album.
