- The songs were left undubbed, with the exception of two short segments.
- At the beginning of the film, a silent movie with Don Lockwood (Gene Kelly) and Lina Lamont (Jean Hagen) is shown. In the dubbing, the intertitles are read aloud by the voice actors of the two, which somewhat spoils the surprise that Lamont has a terrible voice.
- The movies was released in Latin American cinemas in the 1950s, albeit without dubbing.
- Most home media releases only feature the original European Spanish dub.
- Most streaming services also feature the Mexican dub.
