Cartoon All-Stars to the Rescue is a 1990 American animated television special featuring various pop-culture characters, which was produced by The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Foundation and Southern Star Productions. The film chronicles the exploits of Michael, a young teenage boy who has been starting to use marijuana as well as stealing items and drinking alcohol, which concerns his younger sister, Corey, alongside his parents. As Corey's piggy bank goes missing one day, the cartoon tie-in merch she owns comes to life, and as they discover his stash of marijuana, proceed to work together to do an intervention and take him on a fantasy journey to teach him the risks and consequences a life of drug abuse can bring.
The special was aired on April 21, 1990, being simulcast in all four major American television networks, alongside local television markets, and various cable networks. The special also aired overseas, such as in Canada and Australia. It was later released on VHS, opening with an introduction from then-United States president George W. Bush, First Lady Barbara Bush, and their dog Millie.
