Casablanca is one of two German dubs of the film of the same name. This version is notable for being heavily cut down and edited from the original release due to the World War II setting.

- This version was heavily edited when it was released in West Germany.
- Victor Laszlo, originally a Resistance fighter escaped from a Nazi concentration camp, was altered to be a Norwegian atomic physicist who had broke out of jail.
- In all, 25 minutes was cut from the release. This includes the iconic scene where the customers at Rick's Cafe sing the French anthem, driving out the German soldiers.
- The original plot would be dubbed into German in 1975.
