Cendrillon is one of two French dubs of Cinderella. This dub was produced in 1991 for the film's reissue in France that same year, because of the mice's dialogue being hard to understand with the pitch-shifting in the first dub. The film was released in French on home video for the first time in Europe on November 27th of the same year, though the first dub had been released on home video in Canada already in 1988. Both France and Canada have used this dub since 1995.

Notes[]

  • Drizella was renamed to Javotte, which is the original name of the older stepsister from the Perrault book.
  • For the sequels, Canada produced their own dubs as had become the practice Disney films produced from Who Framed Roger Rabbit? onwards. Additionally, some of the cast, most notoriously Cinderella, were replaced for the European French sequels despite the gap of only 10 years, as a result of the studio change to Franc-Jeu and then Dubbing Brothers.
