Charlotte aux Fraises : Aventures à Fraisi-Paradis (also known as Fraisinette : Aventures à Fraisi-Paradis in Canada and Charlotte aux Fraises : Aventures à Fraisi-Jardin on some DVD covers) is the French dub of Strawberry Shortcake's Berry Bitty Adventures.

It premiered on Disney Junior in France, when it was known as Playhouse Disney, on December 5, 2009[1], with The Strawberry Shortcake Movie: Sky's the Limit. The series proper then premiered on August 23, 2010.[2] The dub then started airing on Tiji from September 2013[3] until 2017, but it was still airing on Disney Junior as late as 2014.[4] In the same year, it would also air on Gulli.[5]

Notes[]

  • An alternative version of the dub was produced for Canadian audiences, due to the differences in character names. Thus, the same actors re-recorded some of their lines to accommodate; the footage is re-localized as well.
  • This dub - alongside the Hebrew and Italian dubs - displays episode titles on-screen, even though the original English version and all other dubs asides from those two do not.
  • Julie Turin reprises her role as Strawberry Shortcake from the dub of the 2003 series, just like Edwige Lemoine and Hélène Chanson reprise their roles as Orange Blossom and Blueberry Muffin respectively.
    • In fact, most of the voice cast from the 2003 series is back, some of them voicing new characters that were not present in the previous series. Blanche Ravalec also serves as the dubbing director again.
    • However, Turin and Chanson do not reprise their roles as Apple Dumplin' and Huckleberry Pie respectively, the latter being because he was aged up for this series.
  • Although the cast is the same as the dub of Sky's the Limit, songs are completely redubbed.

Errors[]

  • Someone can be heard moaning during "Home Sweet Home."
