Chien pourri ! (also known as Chien pourri et Chaplapla) is a 2019 French-Belgian-Spanish-Finnish animated children's television series, based on the book series of the same name by Colas Gutman. The series is directed by Davy Durand, with the participation of Vincent Patar and Stéphane Aubier.
The series follows the wild and funny adventures of an outcast dog and a flat cat. The two friends live in the streets of Paris where they feast on leftover pizza, mussels and other crusts they find in the bins.
On October 7, 2020, an animated theatrical film for the series was released in French theaters, entitled Chien pourri, la vie à Paris !. It is merely five episodes of the series[1] repackaged to a film's length. The film itself has been dubbed in a few languages.
