Chikao Ōtsuka (大塚 周夫, Ōtsuka Chikao), was a Japanese actor, voice actor and narrator. He was notably best known for voicing Dr. Eggman in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise and Master Xehanort in the Kingdom Hearts franchise. He also had a son named Akio Ōtsuka, who's also a voice actor.
On January 15, 2015, he died at the age of 85 due to an ischemic heart disease. He would be succeeded by Kotaro Nakamura as the Japanese voice of Dr. Eggman. His son would also succeed him as the Japanese voice of Master Xehanort.
