Cool World is a 1992 American live-action/animated adult fantasy comedy directed by Ralph Bakshi. It stars Gabriel Byrne as Jack Deebs, a cartoonist who finds himself in an animated world he thinks he's created, where his creation Holli Would (Kim Basinger) attempts to seduce him in a bid to become human.
Originally envisioned as an erotic thriller/horror film, the film was extensively reworked by the studio, with the final product receiving negative reviews, though it has become a cult classic over time.
