世界のクレヨンしんちゃん
The Crayon Shin-chan segment in the TV Asahi special "20 Japanese Anime Masterpieces Chosen by the World", aired in Japan on July 29, 2008, featuring the Filipino dub of the show's first segment.
Notes[]
- This dub debuted alongside the series Cyborg Kuro-chan.
- For the first five episodes, Shin-chan was voiced by Andrew E., a multi-platinum awarded Filipino movie actor and rapper, very well-known for his suggestive lyrics. He was chosen to draw attention to the series.
- The series was rated PG in the Philippines due to mature content.
- Almost all of the character names were changed into Filipino names, such as Misae becoming Carmen, Kazama becoming Nunoy, Masao becoming Boyet, and Mrs. Yoshinaga becoming Pilar Miyumi (or Mayumi or Ryumi). Some characters, like Shiro, retained their Japanese names.
