De Vlaamse Simpsons is the Flemish Dutch dub of The Simpsons. Intended as a special for the show's 20-year anniversary, the channel VT4 aired the episode "Sex, Pies and Idiot Scrapes" at 24 October 2009 on 19:20, with the Flemish voices from the movie, which was dubbed prior.[1][2]
This dubbed special was accompanied with a search for Flanders' favorite episodes of the show. Viewers were able to vote at VT4's site, and the five episodes with the most votes would be shown in a row from 17:00, leading up to the episode dubbed in Flemish; the other episodes that aired on the channel did not air with a Flemish dub, and were merely aired in English with Dutch subtitles.
