Detective Conan is one of two European Spanish dubs of 名探偵コナン. It premiered on Cartoon Network on March 5, 2001, continuing to air on the channel until circa 2004, returning in 2006 until circa 2011. In 2002, the series also aired on Antena 3, though it is unknown how many episodes did air. Around 2008, the show was distributed to several regional channels in Spain, along with Animax and AXN (though these two channels only had the rights to episodes 114 to 222). The series also aired on K30TV from 2011 - 2013, and Canal Sur 2 from 2006 to circa 2011. The dub is also available on Pluto TV (via the Anime Clásico channel).
The first 76 episodes were done at International Soundstudio in Barcelona, when Manga Films owned the rights to those episodes. The rights were eventually transferred to Arait Multimedia, which caused dubbing to move to Alamis in Madrid, with a new cast and crew starting with episode 77.
