Detektiv Conan is the German dub of 名探偵コナン. The series premiered on RTL II on April 10, 2002. The channel had aired episodes of the series until July 3, 2006, when they had aired 333 episodes. Reruns aired until 2013, when the series had stopped airing. On December 5, 2007, the series started airing on VIVA, with all episodes being reruns of those that aired on RTL; it stopped airing in 2014.
On November 2, 2016, ProSieben Maxx started airing the series, also rebroadcasting previous episodes. However, on June 20, 2018, it was announced that ProSieben MAXX had planned to air new episodes of the series, which begun on October 19 of that year; episodes 334 to 433 aired. Another batch of episodes began airing on October 31, 2022, where episodes 434 to 483 aired. The show is aired intermittently, with its timeslot occasionally replaced with other shows.
The dub is available to stream on Crunchyroll and Amazon Prime Video. Episodes also stream on Joyn after they air on ProSieben Maxx and are removed some time after. Many DVDs of the show were released by m4e, KAZÉ, and Crunchyroll (with the latter releasing episodes in remastered quality) respectively.
