Trivia[]
German soundtrack[]
- Die Biene Maja's German opening theme was written and composed by Czech composer Karel Svoboda and performed by Czech singer Karel Gott. The rest of the soundtrack was also composed by Karel Svoboda.
- The German soundtrack, along with its dub, served as the basis for the dubs that were produced for the series. The only exceptions are the Arabic, Persian, Cantonese, Chinese Mandarin, Korean, and Taiwanese Mandarin dubs.
Other[]
- In the German radioplays, Andrea Wagner was credited as Florian Cusano.[1][2][3]
- This is one of few known dubs in which Maya was voiced by a child actress. The only other confirmed dubs to do the same are Albanian, Hungarian and Italian dubs of the show.
