Censorship[]
These episodes were skipped during regular episode premieres or have been banned from reruns on Nicktoons Germany due to the inclusion of LGBT characters and/or references, likely as a consequence of Nickelodeon's Central and Eastern European feed, which censors LGBT content, merging with its German feed on December 25, 2021. However, LGBT content does not experience censorship in Germany, where same-sex marriage has been legal since 2017.
Note: Episodes in bold were aired on the channel during regular premieres, but have since been banned from reruns.
Episode | Reason |
---|---|
Matters of the Kart | Sergio and Sancho posing as a gay couple and the depiction of a family with two fathers |
Throwing Pains | Becky and Dodge being depicted as a queer couple |
Let's Get Ready to Rumba | Ivan making mention of his husband |
In "Throwing Pains" and "Gossipy Girl", Becky's girlfriend Dodge was given a male voice actor. While the former episode was banned from reruns on Nicktoons in Germany, it still airs in reruns on Nickelodeon in Austria and Switzerland.
The episodes "15 Candles," "Nixed Signals," and "Phantom Freakout" were initially skipped on Nicktoons Germany, but were aired later.
