Die Hunde sind los is the German dub of The Plague Dogs. It was released in theaters in West Germany on October 21, 1982. The film was initially presented uncut in both theaters as well as on VHS. When the film was released on DVD, it was cut to around 82 minutes. On February 15, 2019, another DVD would be released presenting the film in its original uncut format.
