Digimon (also known as Digimon Adventure) is the French dub of デジモンアドベンチャー. It has previously aired on TF1, Fox Kids, TFOU TV, Club RTL, TSR 2 and Télétoon; it is available on Animation Digital Network.

History[]

In France, Digimon was premiered on French channel TF1 in 2000/09/02 - 2001/02/03, in the "TF! Jeunesse" block. It was also aired on French satellite channel Fox Kids two days later after the premiere. The series also aired reruns on TF1's TFOU TV block in 2003.

In Belgium, the show aired on Club RTL in 2001. In Switzerland, the show aired on TSR 1 in sometimes in the 2000s.

In the French-speaking parts of Canada (mainly Quebec), the show aired on Télétoon channel beginning on 2000/09/04, the same day as the show's premiere in the French Fox Kids channel.

The French dub was also available on French video on demand streaming service platform Animation Digital Network for SVOD in 2020/02/21, before the show was also made available for free in the same service on 2020/09/14. And also on a channel in Pluto TV, since the 2022/06/13

Trivia[]

  • The French dub is based off the American English dub.
  • TF1's broadcast aired with scene cuts specific to the channel and skipped a few episodes (including episodes 38 to 40). The fifty-four episodes in their entirety are broadcast in reruns, internationally, on DVD and on VOD.
  • Pluto TV broadcasts edited prints with the Japanese openings and endings restored
