Doctor Who is the German dub of the show of the same name.

Broacast

The classic series of Doctor Who started broadcasting in Germany in November of 1989 on the German free-TV channel RTL. The episodes that were broadcast were from the Slyvester McCoy era of the show (1987-1989; seasons 24-26). VOX started broadcasting episodes from the Colin Baker era of the show (1984-1986; seasons 21-23), as well as the 20th-anniversary special The Five Doctors, in 1995. Since 2018, Polyband Medien GmbH and PandaStorm Pictures GmbH regulary release stories from the first 21 seasons of the show direct-to-video.

The modern series of Doctor Who started broadcasting in Germany in January of 2008 on the German free-TV channel ProSieben. This included episodes of the first two seasons, before the show moved to the German pay-TV channel Fox Channel from 2011 to 2021. When the Fox Channel closed down, the show briefly moved to the BBC Player Amazon channel for the thirteenth season before settling on Doctor Who's new international home, Disney+, in 2023.
