Censorship & edits[]

  • As with the censored English versions of the previous three series, Mr. Satan was renamed to "Hercules" in the UK Pop airings, though the "Satan City" sign, anything with "Mr. Satan" written on it, and etc. wasn't edited.
  • In the UK Pop airings, the words were changed or muted out:
    • Any instances of "Shut up!" were changed to "Be quiet!"
    • "Kill" or "killing" was changed to "blast", "defeat", or "defeating".
    • "Die" was changed to "lose".
    • "Blood" was changed to "sweat".
    • "Stupid" was changed to "silly".
    • "Death" was changed to "defeat".
    • "Crap" and "oh crap" was muted out.

A Peacetime Reward Who Gets the 100,000,000 Zeni?! (Episode 1)[]

  • In the UK Pop airings:
    • The fight scenes with Goku, Vegeta and Kid Buu in the recap at the beginning of the episode was cut.
    • The scene where the earth peoples hold their hands up and giving Goku the energy of the Spirit Bomb in the recap were slowed down.
    • The scene where Goku pushes the Spirit Bomb to Kid Buu in the recap was replaced by a still shot.
    • The close up scenes of Trunks punching the giant snake was cut out.

To the Promised Resort! Vegeta Takes a Family Trip! (Episode 2)[]

  • In the UK Pop airings:
    • The scene where Vegeta punches Trunks in the flashback was cut out.
    • In a scene where Vegeta says "Bastard", the swear word was changed to "fool".

Where Does the Dream Pick Up? Find the Super Saiyan God! (Episode 3)[]

  • In the UK Pop airings, the scene where Master Roshi lusts over women on the beach before Chi-Chi interrupts were edited to cut out scenes that shows beach women and as well as Roshi's nosebleeds.

Bid for the Dragon Balls! Pilaf and Crew's Impossible Mission! (Episode 4)[]

  • In the UK Pop airings:
    • The scene where Master Roshi watching dirty magazine and nosebleeds alongside Oolong while Ox King and Puar smiling were cut.
    • The scene where Bulma punches Krillin in the head for asking a question about her age and she says "What I told you, you should never ask for women's age!" was cut.
    • A chef's line, "Those damn kids!" was changed to "Those darn kids!"
    • The entire bingo prize room scene was cut out. The reason for this was unknown; it was mostly likely due to time constraints.

Don't Anger the Destroyer! A Heart-Pounding Birthday Party (Episode 6)[]

  • In the UK Pop airings:
    • When Master Roshi tries to touch Bulma's breasts (and she slaps him), the line "creep" was changed to "hey".
    • In a scene where Vegeta says "damnit", the line was changed to "come on".
    • In a scene where Beerus says "considering that you won't be alive for much longer", the line was changed to "considering that you won't be around for much longer".
    • In Vegeta's flashback, scenes where Beerus kneeling King Vegeta's head were cut. Also, the cracking sound when Beerus crushed King Vegeta's head was removed.
    • The scenes where Good Buu punching Beerus' head repeatedly and Whis went to Edomae Sushi stall were cut.

How Dare You Do That To My Bulma! Vegeta's Metamorphosis of Fury? (Episode 7)[]

  • In the UK Pop airings:
    • The scene where Beerus slaps Gotenks' arm repeatedly was cut.
    • Scenes where Piccolo, Android 18 and Tien Shinhan fights Beerues were slowed down.
    • Scenes with Beerus kneeling on Vegeta's head, and as well as flashback where Beerus done the same to King Vegeta were cut.
    • The scene where Beerus slaps Bulma was cut out.

Goku Makes an Entrance! A Last Chance from Lord Beerus? (Episode 8)[]

  • In the UK Pop airings:
    • Scenes where Beerus punches Vegeta in the face, causing him to spin and bash Beerus in the face, were cut.
    • In the scene where Vegeta says "Lord of Destroyer! Stop screwing around and fight me for real!", the line was changed to "Lord of Destroyer! Stop playing around and fight me for real!"
    • In a scene, "Bastard" was changed to "Tyrant".

Show Us, Goku! The Power of a Super Saiyan God! (Episode 10)[]

  • In the UK Pop airings, scenes where Beerus punches Goku in the stomach and in the face, chasing Goku and punches Goku in the face again, were cut.

Let's Keep Going, Lord Beerus! The Battle of Gods! (Episode 11)[]

  • In the UK Pop airings, scenes where Goku repeatedly punches Beerus in the stomach and then in the face, Goku uppercuts Beerus and kicks him in the sky, Beerus punches Goku in the face and in the stomach, and repeatedly punches him, Goku kicks Beerus in the face, Beerus clutches Goku's face and pushes him downwards at such a high velocity (though a few scenes of it were kept), Goku blocks Beerus' punches and punchs him, and Beerus forces his hand through Goku's chest were cut.
