Dragon Ball Z: Dead Zone is one of several English dubs of ドラゴンボールZ. It was released in a box set along with the next two films, in a collection known as "First Strike". This dub has an original score composed by Mark Menza. When later re-released in 2008 with a widescreen remaster from Video Post & Transfer, a version of the dub with the original score by Shunsuke Kikuchi was made available as an alternate audio track.

Even though Kyle Hebert has lines as Ox King, the character is miscredited as being voiced by Christopher Sabat. This was not corrected on the restored DVDs.
