Dragon Ball Z is the German dub of ドラゴンボールZ. Although the dub was made based on the French dub, the German translation of the Dragon Ball manga, made by Carlsen Comics, was used for the adaptation of the script, which allowed solving and correcting the many faults and errors present in the French version. Furthermore, Germany produced reinterpretations of the Japanese opening and ending themes, unlike much of Europe, which only dubbed the French opening.
