Droners is a French children's television series directed by Sylvain Dos Santos and Gregory Leterrier.
The series is set in Terraqua, a world covered by 95% of water. Eco-technology genius Wyatt Whale has organized the Whale Cup, a drones’ race competition taking place in all parts of the region, to choose who will be his future apprentice. Each race is set in a different location and being the best pilot does not always mean you get the best chances to win... The teams need to analyse the circuit and adapt to its natural environment. From using pistil to avoid giant drone-eating flowers, to creating a resisting drone carapace with seashells, they will pull off the craziest tricks and test their mettle to compete against the fiercest opponents.
