Trivia[]

  • This dub was created for the Brazilian 1998 VHS release. It was also created in order to dub the song "Song of the Roustabouts", as the previous dubbings left it in English.
  • Some of the releases, such as the Brazilian 1998 VHS release and the 2001 UK DVD release containing this dub use the credits from the previous 1973 dubbing despite the fact the audio is the 1998 dubbing itself.
  • Not counting the reused archival performance from João Zacarias, Orlando Drummond and Selma Lopes are the only cast members from this dubbing to have participated in the previous 1973 dubbing.
  • While this dub reuses João Zacarias' performance as Casey Junior from the 1973 dubbing rather than cast an new actor to voice the character, some releases that contain this dub such as the 1999 UK DVD release use Margaret Wright's performance from the English language version instead, which results in the character being the only one in that version of this dub to speak English. It is unknown why this is the case.
