Eberhard Storeck was a German voice actor, voice director and he adapted scripts for dubbing.
Biography[]
Eberhard Storeck began his dubbing career in the 1950s at DEFA (the state film production company of East Germany), then moved to West Germany, where he first worked at the Internationale Film Union (International Film Union) in Remagen and then joined the Kirch Group.
He is mainly known to German audiences for his work on children's and youth productions, such as Maya the Bee, Vicky the Viking and The Muppet Show. But he has also worked on live-action productions such as Magnum, P.I..
Storeck's success was also due to the fact that he gathered a regular team of expressive voices around him, with whom he worked time and again. This team included Manfred Lichtenfeld, Fred Maire, Horst Gentzen, Gert Günther Hoffmann, Bruno W. Pantel, Helga Anders, Marianne Wischmann, Walter Reichelt, Werner Abrolat, Tilli Breidenbach, Kurt Zips, Michael Rüth, Berno von Cramm, Herbert Weicker, Leo Bardischewski, Erich Ebert, Thomas Reiner and Mogens von Gadow.
Storeck last lived in Berlin and died six weeks before his 82nd birthday. He was buried in the anonymous burial ground at Keitum cemetery.
