FFS Film- & Fernseh-Synchron GmbH is a German dubbing studio located in Berlin and Munich, Germany. It is managed by Rainer Ludwig.

With over 50 years of dubbing experience, and over 130 employees working, it is currently the largest provider for German dubs with over 7000 projects and counting.

History[]

FFS Film- & Fernseh-Synchron GmbH was established in 1971 by Rainer Ludwig in Munich.

On August 21, 1995 it was merged with Okular Film GmbH. On August 16, 1999 with Elite Film Synchron GmbH, GAV Gesellschaft für Audiotransfer und Videotechnik mbH and MTS Movie-Ton-Studio GmbH, and on December 20th with SBS Studioausstattungs-Beratungs- & Service GmbH.

On April 15, 2010 the company opened its new studios in Berlin.[1]

Münchner Synchron (formerly Bavaria Synchron) was established in the mid-1960's, located in Munich, it was rebranded later to it's last name in 2019, the company later merged with FFS Film- & Fernseh-Synchron in July 21, 2022, and is currently operating under the FFS name. [2][3]

Dubbing Brothers group owns the company since March 12, 2019.[4]
