Fiveman is the French dub of 地球戦隊ファイブマン. It premiered on June 12, 1991 on the Club Dorothée block on TF1. This is the sixth Super Sentai series to officially air in France and it's known for holding the record for being the shortest lived entry to ever air there. Only the first five episodes were aired. But the truth of the matter is, they actually dubbed 23 out of 48 episodes, with the rest being unaired.

Trivia[]

  • The Japanese opening was replaced with a theme song by Jean-Paul Césari.
  • It is likely the reason why this series only aired the first five episodes was due to a mass decline in viewership and popularity of Super Sentai in France. 鳥人戦隊ジェットマン would go on to be the very last series to air with a French dub before deciding to air Power Rangers adaptations starting off with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
  • Despite this series having the shortest run compared to others that were also aired in France, Bandai still released merchandise of the series there. [2]
