Frankie y los Zhu Zhu Pets is the Latin American Spanish dub of The ZhuZhus. In Mexico, the series first premiered on Discovery Kids in Latin America on June 19, 2017. In the rest of Latin America, it then aired on July 3, 2017, with the mere exception of Colombia, in which it aired on their feed the next day.
The show would see frequent reruns in Latin America, even after the original version had ended in the US and Canada, though in nearly all Latin American countries the show ceased airing in October 2022.
Episodes of the dub were previously made available on Discovery Kids Plus, their streaming website. As well, it is currently available to stream on Canela TV.

Notes[]
The title card present in the first five episodes.
- The title seen at the end of the opening theme in the first five episodes is different than the original title card, despite being in English. The Latin American version reads "Frankie and the Zhu Zhu Pets" (staying true to the initial name of the series, before being renamed), instead of "The ZhuZhus".
- This version was also originally seen in the Brazilian Portuguese version, and the same title structure is also utilized in the French dub, albeit localized in French.
- Starting from episode 6, the episode titles and show title are localized in Spanish for subsequent rebroadcasts.
- The English title card used in the first five episodes is hosted on every single episode of the dub on the service Canela TV, as the rest of the footage is unlocalized from the original English version.
- Sometimes the words "Zhu Zhu" are pronounced su su, and at other times, shu shu.
- Jessica Ángeles shares a name with the character she voices.
Errors[]
- During the episode "Skate-lebrity", a scene was skipped when Frankie slips off her skateboard, instead, only showing her feet on the skateboard. This turned into slow motion to make said scene jump.
- In the episode "Hairible Mistake", when Frankie watches television near the end of the episode, a spoken line of Jessica is accidentally muted, making the scene rather confusing.
- This also happens in the episode "The Pumpkin Whisperers", when the teacher gives Frankie a trophy for the giant pumpkin. The teacher's dialogues remain mute and an ambient sound is heard.
- At the end of the episode "Friendship Friend-zy", for uncertain reasons the ending was cut four seconds before the closing credits of the series.
- During the episode "Pranksters' Paradise", a scene was cut where Frankie talks to her dad about the plan for the party, where she has an idea that her father dresses up as a clown. After that cut, Frankie's mom sees the dad dressed up as a clown. It is unknown if the dubbing studio influenced this change, or if the chain that manages Discovery Kids inexplicably made it. Furthermore, it is not known if that scene was dubbed at all.
