Garfield y sus amigos is the Latin American Spanish dub of Garfield and Friends. It was for many years, the only dub of the series in Spanish, although in 2021, a dub was produced in European Spanish, with a different cast.

- In the first seasons, Nermal's name was adapted as "Telma", a Spanish female name, and due to her somewhat effeminate appearance and personality, she was referred as if she were female. As of the third season, after the change of studio and her voices, her original name (Nermal) was used, although she continued to be referred as a female. However, in some later episodes she is referred as male.
- In the first episodes of the series, it can be noticed, when listening to some characters that have the characteristic Chilean Spanish dialect when speaking, although, with the passage of the chapters, the dialect was closer to Latin American Spanish (also called Neutral Spanish), which can be understood by any Spanish speaker.
- In the first season, Lanolin has a slight Argentinian Spanish dialect (the actress is Chilean, and it was just kind of a joke), but in the rest of the seasons she uses a Latin American Spanish accent, despite being voiced by the same actress.
- The writer of the series, Mark Evanier, even mentioned that he liked the first opening theme in its Latin American Spanish version even more than the original.[2]
- Some actors reprise roles for different characters throughout the series, even in episodes where they appear simultaneously.
