Geek Girl is a Canadian-British coming-of-age teen drama television series produced by Nelvana, Aircraft Pictures and RubyRock Pictures, based on the young adult novel of the same name written by Holly Smale. Directed by Declan O'Dwyer, it debuted on Netflix and StackTV simultaneously on May 30, 2024. A second series has been greenlit and is currently in production, with Boat Rocker Media taking over production and acquiring the series from Corus Entertainment.
The series follows sixteen-year-old Harriet Manners, whose life is turned upside down after she is thrust head-first into the world of fashion. Tightly wound agents, reclusive designers, impossibly high heels, and a cute supermodel boy with a great smile — socially awkward Harriet has no idea what she’s in for.
