Gogoriki (better known stylized as GoGoRiki) is one of several English dubs of Смешарики. It has previously aired on The CW in the United States and Pop in the United Kingdom and Network 10 in Australia. It was dubbed by the American production company 4Kids Entertainment in association with Fun Game Media.
It is the first English adaptation of the Russian animated series, Смешарики. It featured its own theme song, heavy dialogue changes, and original songs. Only 101 segments were broadcast in the US, out of the 215 episodes that were produced in Russia. The end of each episode also featured GoTunes, a musical segment with one song per episode.
This dub was soon replaced by the FunGameMedia English dub.

History[]
The English-language distribution rights to Смешарики were acquired by 4Kids Entertainment from the lesser-known worldwide distributor Fun Game Media in Munich, Germany.[4] Under the name Gogoriki, the dub first premiered on The CW's The CW4Kids block in the United States on September 27, 2008.[5] It began its second season on October 17, 2009, and the dub ended on September 20, 2011 with 34 episodes and 101 segments. Fun Game Media was also producing a German dub of the original series which began airing on KiKA on December 8, 2008.[6]
Gogoriki was one of the last few English dubs that 4Kids Entertainment did before initially filing for bankruptcy in 2012. When the show was discontinued on the CW4Kids block after its second season in 2011, 4Kids Entertainment never issued any DVDs of the show despite the cult following the show had during its run. Instead, they've published most of the episodes on their official website on at least January 14, 2010.[7]
The dub was also broadcast on Pop in the United Kingdom,[8] on YTV in Canada,[9] and on Network 10 in Australia.[10]
During 4Kids Entertainment's downward financial spiral since the dub's cancellation, Gogoriki's rights reverted back to the Russian production company, Riki Group, who commissioned FunGameMedia to produce a new English dub (now with a new name BalloonToons, which was later renamed Kikoriki after the German dub also produced by FunGameMedia, which continues to be used for all English dubs since) which was launched on YouTube on March 31, 2010.[11]

Notes[]
- The only dub that is based on this dub is the French one.
- Each episode segment was split into individual episodes when the show aired on Pop.[12][13]
