Trivia[]
- This was the first time Peer Augustinski voiced Robin Williams. He would go on to be the regular voice of Williams until 2007.
- Over 69 voice actors had auditioned for the role of Adrian Cronauer, before Augustinski was cast.[2]
- He was contacted by Arne Elsholtz personally, because he was looking for a trained actor with a certain musicality.[2]
- Both Augustinski and the supervisor from the studio were of the opinion that he didn't fit Robin Williams, but Elsholtz remained adamant.
- When Adrian Cronauer imitates the pope, he was dubbed by Arne Elsholtz.
- Elsholtz is also heard in a few small roles. Most obviously, when he voiced several young GIs in one scene back to back.
