Grande Studios

Grande Studios (also known as Producciones Grande, or simply Grande) is a Mexican post-production studio located in Mexico City.

History[]

Grande Studios was founded in February 1985 by businessman Arturo Grande, with the sole intent of providing audiovisual services for commercials and music videos, it wasn't until 2000 when the company began to provide mixing services for Eduardo Giaccardi's Prime Dubb, Grande's first foray in the dubbing market.

Around 2006, Grande was contracted by Disney Character Voices International to fully take part in the dubbing process, from voice recording, to editing, to mixing, currently working with the company for Disney Channel series and movies. This marks the company's full entry into the dubbing market.

In 2014, the company became the official dubbing studio for Lucasfilm's productions, in addition to dubbing several of Marvel Studios' productions. In 2020, after the acquisition of most of the Fox's assets, they would also be in charge of film dubbing for films produced by 20th Century Studios.

Arturo Grande would pass away on January 29, 2021, and his daughter Paulina Grande, who had been working in the company as COO since 2018, assumed the role of CEO from 2021-onwards.

In April 2022, in accommodation of its thirty-sixth anniversary, the company renamed itself from Producciones Grande to Grande Studios or simply Grande.
