Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer is a 2000 American-Canadian animated Christmas special based on the 1979 novelty song of the same name, which was produced by The Fred Rappoport Company, Inc. and Phil Roman Entertainment. The film follows Jake Spankenheimer, a boy who embarks on a journey to find his missing grandmother and prove the existence and innocence of Santa Claus.
The film aired primarily on networks owned by Time Warner/WarnerMedia/Warner Bros. Discovery, such as The WB, Cartoon Network and Boomerang. It has also aired on networks that were not owned by the company, such as AMC and Freeform.
