Gundam Wing (French) is the French dub of 新機動戦記ガンダムW. Gundam Wing is the first Gundam series to be released in France, it's mostly due to the success of the show in the United States.
It was first aired by M6 on October 22, 2001 but the broadcast was discontinued after only 9 episodes, after that the airing of the show was moved on November 12, 2001 to Fun TV which was at the time a channel of Groupe M6. On Fevruary 18, 2002 M6 rescheduled the show on their channel before stopping again the broadcast after 26 episodes.
It was also aired on Belgium in 2005 on Club RTL.
In 2001 Beez Entertainment released VHS of the show.
In 2003 Beez Entertainment re-released the show but this time in 10 DVD (5 episodes per DVD except for tenth one which contained 4 episodes) they contained the French, English and Japanese dub (with French and English subtitles).
From 2019 to 2021 @Anime released Blu-Ray of the show, from 2019 to 2020 it was the Collector edition of their release and in 2021 it was the Simple edition.

- Even if the Japanese opening weren't changed "Just Communication" had a voice over - recorded by Lionel Tua - who's introducing the characters and the initial situation (It was used until the opening was replaced by "Rhythm Emotion").
- In the first opening when the show logo appears the background is the earth seen from space.
- In the second opening close-ups of the Gundam 01 were cut and replaced by other mobile suit and the logo scene of the 1st opening.
