Harlem Globetrotters is an American animated series made by Hanna-Barbera based on the exhibition basketball team of the same name, which originally aired on CBS from September 12, 1970 to May 20, 1973, being later reran from February 4 to September 2, 1978 on NBC as The Go-Go Globetrotters.
The series focused on the animated adventures of the Globetrotters, who traveled in a van with their elderly coach, Granny, and their canine Team Pet, Dribbles. Most episodes, which were set overseas throughout the globe, had the team on the way to their next game when they encountered a criminal or other interference. Despite trailing badly in the first half of the game, the Globetrotters would always manage to come from behind in the second half.
