Heidi is one of two Italian dubs of アルプスの少女ハイジ. This dub is based on the German version. This dub was very successful in Italy, being comparable to that of countries like Spain and Germany, and regions like Latin America. It had the particularity of having been released in the cinema in Italy in 1977, forming three feature films with the 52 episodes, which would be re-released in 1979. For its part, it would be released on the main Rai channel in 1978, being broadcast on its sister channel Rai Due. Since then, it has been broadcast on numerous Italian television channels, both free-to-air and pay-TV, even being broadcast until the 2010s.

Trivia[]
- Although, strictly speaking, this is the only official dub of Heidi's anime, there is a second dub, for home video, based on the US English version dub, produced by Pacific Arts. This dub had a different cast, and is very hard to find, mainly because of the popularity of the classic dub.
