Heinz Petruo was a German actor, voice actor and dubbing director. He was best known for voicing Darth Vader in the Star-Wars trilogy. He was one of the most heard voices at his time with him participating in over 1500 productions.

He was the father of voice actor Thomas Petruo and the grandfather of Vanessa Petruo.
