Help! I'm a Fish! (also known as A Fish Tale in the US) is a 2000 English-language Danish-German-Irish traditionally animated science fantasy musical film directed by Michael Hegner, Stefan Fjeldmark, and Greg Manwaring. Produced by A-Film in Denmark, Munich Animation in Germany, and TerraGlyph in Ireland. It is distributed by Nordisk Film.
The film's music was composed by the late Søren Hyldgaard, it is produced by Anders Mastrup and Russell Boland, with screenplay from Stefan Fjeldmark, Karsten Kiilerich, John Stefan Olsen, and Tracy J. Brown.
It stars the voices of Alan Rickman, Terry Jones and Aaron Paul in one of his first acting roles.
Three children are turned into fish when they visit a mad scientist and subsequently find themselves embarking on an amazing underwater adventure. They encounter a fish who is developing a plan to take control of the oceans and then the world.

The film was first released in theatres in it's home country, Denmark, in it's native language, released on October 6, 2000 through Nordic film distributor Nordisk Film.
The English version first released in British cinemas on August 10, 2001 by HanWay Films, later in the United States as a direct-to-video film on September 5, 2006, over 5 years later, under the title A Fish Tale, by Genius Brands.
