Hi-5 is an Australian children's television series, originally produced by Kids Like Us Productions and later by Southern Star Entertainment for the Nine Network and created by Helena Harris and Posie Graeme-Evans. The program is known for its educational content, and for the cast of the program, who became a recognised musical group for children outside of the series, known collectively as Hi-5. It has generated discussion about what is considered appropriate television for children. The series premiered on April 12, 1999 on the Nine Network.

The show is targeted to preschoolers, the original cast has included Kellie Crawford, who presented Word Play along with a puppet named Chatterbox, Kathleen de Leon Jones, who presented Puzzles and Patterns along with a puppet named Jup Jup, Tim Harding, who presented Making Music, Nathan Foley, who presented Shapes in Space and Charli Robinson, who presented Body Move. In Series 9, Kathleen de Leon Jones was replaced by Sun Park, however De Leon has appeared in 3 episodes as a guest. In Series 10, Tim Harding was replaced by Stevie Nicholson, and in Series 11, Kellie Crawford, Nathan Foley, Charli Robinson and Sun Park was replaced by Tim Maddren, Casey Burgess, Fely Irvine, and Lauren Brant.

Nine renewed its partnership with the Hi-5 franchise in October 2016 and announced plans to revive Hi-5 with a new cast. The revived series premiered on 9Go! on May 15, 2017. It had plans for the revived series to have a second season, consisting of 48 episodes, however, the series was short-lived and the second season got cancelled due of the Australian production office being closed and it was moved to Singapore and United States of America.
