- Like the Korean, German and Polish dubs, every character has their own individual voice actors since series 12.
- In the episode "The Sad Story of Henry", Sir Topham Hatt is called "Sig. Topham Hatt".
- Series 21, Thomas and the Magic Railroad, and the specials Hero of the Rails, Misty Island Rescue and The Adventure Begins have not been dubbed in Italian.
- From series 15 to Tale of the Brave, Edward was called "Eddie".
- Because the Italian term "locomotiva" (locomotive) is a female term, all the engines are referred to as females from series 1 to The Great Discovery. The diesels were also called "locomotives" and referred to as females. Bertie was also to referred as female because he was called "corriera" which means "bus" in Italian. However, Terence, Trevor and Harold were all referred to as males.
- Series 8 to 12 were not released on DVD on this dub.
