Iyuno South Korea (formerly known as Iyuno-SDI Group, Korea, Iyuno-SDI Group, Seoul, Iyuno Media Group or i-Yuno Media Group) is a South Korean recording studio located in Seoul and is part of Iyuno.

History[]

SDI Media[]

SDI Media Korea was a branch of the SDI Media group opened in South Korea in 2002[unverified], specialized in subtitling.

Iyuno[]

i-Yuno Media Group was founded in South Korea in June 2002 as a subtitling company.[1] In 2006, the group's global headquarters were relocated to Ayer Rajah Crescent, Singapore, also its Korean headquarters was moved to the DMC HiTech Industry Center.[2]

i-Yuno Media Group changed is name to IYUNO Media Group in 2016. In 2018, the company moved to a new location, at Dream Tower in Mapo-gu.

On September 12, 2019, Iyuno Media Group acquired BTI Studios, which dictated the closure of BTI Studios' Korean headquarters shortly after.[3]

On April 1, 2021, SDI Media was acquired by Iyuno Media Group, which resulted in the closure of the Korean branch of SDI Media and in the creation of a brand new company merging both, Iyuno-SDI Group, which moved the group's global headquarters from Singapore to Burbank, California, USA.[4] On October 26, 2022, the company was renamed again to Iyuno and opens another studio in Yangcheon-ro, Gangseo-gu, Seoul.[5][6]

Medi-Lan / BTI Studios[]

Medi-Lan Korea was the Korean branch of the Hongkongese localization company Media-Lan.

On April 30, 2015, BTI Studios acquired Medi-Lan, changing the name of the Korean branch to BTI Studios Korea in April 2016.[7]
