Trivia[]

  • The names of most techniques and moves were adapted to Portuguese. An exception was the "Hamon Cutter", which remained in the original. Practically all the others, such as Jonathan's "Overdrive", were translated, in the case of the mentioned attack, the translation was "Sobrecarga".
  • While voicing Dio in Part 1, Francisco stated he had to restrain himself from destroying anything during the recording, as he loves animals and seeing the scene of Dio beating Danny and then killing him made him very angry.
  • Mother and daughter shared the same character at different ages: Luciana Baroli voiced Erina in part 1. In part 2, her mother Rosa Maria Baroli took over the character. In the original version, Ayako Kawasumi was the actress responsible for both Erina's age groups.
  • The first name of the character Caesar Zeppeli is pronounced in a Portuguese way in the dubbing, that is, "César".
  • The English language catchphrases of the character Joseph were translated into Portuguese.
  • When Joseph disguises himself as a woman, his tone of voice is similar to that of Mickey Mouse, a character who is also voiced by Guilherme Briggs.
  • When Joseph sees Lisa Lisa in the bathroom, he says "Nice!" in the original language, while in the dub he says "Que demais!", a reference to the 1994 film, The Mask.
