Jorge Isaac Arvizu Martínez (July 23, 1932 – March 18, 2014), better known by the stage name Jorge Arvizu, was a Mexican actor who was the first Spanish voice, among others, for the characters Bugs Bunny, Fred Flintstone and Cookie Monster. He was also nicknamed El Tata.
He was also declared the Mel Blanc of Latin American voice acting due to his versatility in providing diverse voices for cartoons and television series. Beyond his accomplishments in voice acting, Arvizu also left his mark as a comic actor, producer, and writer for theater, television, and film. His talent is recognized in Latin American countries where his work is known, mainly in the field of dubbing.
