Josie and the Pussycats is an American animated series produced by Hanna-Barbera based on Archie Comics' comic book series of the same name that originally aired on CBS as part of its Saturday morning programming from September 12, 1970 to January 2, 1971. The series would re-air in reruns for the 1971-72 season, and was followed by Josie and the Pussycats in Outer Space afterwards.
