Joyeux noël, Charlie Brown is one of several French dubs of A Charlie Brown Christmas. Being a Québécois dub, it premiered on Radio-Québec (Télé-Québec today) in Quebec on Christmas Day of 1978, at 6:30 pm. It regularly aired since on the channel in the weeks following Christmas Day, until its final broadcast on December 28, 2012,[2] after the channel lost the rights to the specials.[3]
In France, it was also aired on Boomerang and Télétoon, and was released on VHS by Citel Video (with She's a Good Skate, Charlie Brown) on April 21, 1998, as part of the Préparent Noël VHS.

- When Snoopy practices being different animals in the play rehearsals, he makes new noises heard over the original.
- This dub makes an appearance in the special Good Grief, Charlie Brown: A Tribute to Charles Schulz, which aired the day before Schulz' death in 2000, alongside the Pony Canyon Japanese dub, Leonardo Céspedes Producciones Latin American Spanish dub, and the Ultra-Film Synchron GmbH German dub respectively.
- This dub also appears in The Making of 'A Charlie Brown Christmas' (which aired in 2001), along with the Carioca Italian dub, Ultra-Film Synchron GmbH German dub, and the Pony Canyon Japanese dub respectively. The scene with the four dubs in this documentary would later be reused in the 2015 special It's Your 50th Christmas, Charlie Brown.
