Kimba the White Lion is the Canadian English dub of ジャングル大帝. It was released on VHS and DVD.
Release history[]
Episodes 1 to 8 were released on 4 VHS tapes of 2 episodes each, by CEL Entertainmemt; UAV Entertainment also released tapes with the same episode format, under the title Kimba the Lion Prince. Australian distributor MRA Entertainment released 4 VHS tapes of the show; the first one includes episode 9 to 11, the second one episodes 12 to 14, the third one episodes 16, 17 and 13, and the fourth one episodes 6, 19 and 20.
Episodes 1 and 7 were released on DVD by Digiview Entertainment. Episodes 4, 7, 8, 11 and 12 were released on DVD by Capital Ideas & Associates via the short-lived KimbaKids.com site.[1] Genius Products|Genius Entertainment released 5 DVDs of the series. The first disc features episodes 1 and 4, the second one episodes 7 and 8, the third one episodes 11 and 14, the fourth one episodes 15 and 20, and the fifth one episodes 7, 8 and 15. The last of them was sponsored by the Bazooka Joe & his Gang brand by The Topps Company,[2] as it also included related material as bonus, a gum, an interactive game and a collectible card. Warner Vision Australia released 2 DVDs of the series. The first disc features episodes 1, 2, 3 and 7 and the second disc episodes 4, 5, 6 and 8.[3] A separate home video releases page could be created for further details, such as the changed titles and the arrangement of the episodes. The series was also released on DVD by East West Entertainmemt.
