La Cenicienta is one of several Latin American Spanish dubs of Cinderella. This dub was initially released in all Spanish-speaking countries in the 1950s. In 1997, this dub was replaced with a controversial redub for further releases in Hispanic America after Cinderella's voice actress Evangelina Elizondo sued Disney over royalties, while Spain recieved its own dub that year.

Notes[]

  • The visual presentation of the credits are different between the first Spain VHS and the first Latin American VHS releases. The Latin American version localized the book and the text in the film's prologue. At the end of the film with the text "and they lived happily ever after", on the Latin American VHS it zooms out with and the book closes with the film's title. On the Spain VHS, it cuts to a image with the final text as the camera pans down revealing the image. The book was not localized on the Spain VHS release from 1992 but the closing image was localized.
